Captain Robin Calitri

Almost forty years ago, a New Hampshire taxidermist convinced Robin Calitri , of Seacoastflyfishing.com, that striped bass and bluefish could be caught on fly tackle. Since that time, Robin has been an avid saltwater fly fisherman. He has shared his knowledge with
friends and family and began guiding professionally in 2000. He has poled around the flats of Florida in search of tarpon
and bonefish, worked the Merrimack River in Massachusetts for stripers, and he fishes in fresh water bass tournaments.
Captain Robin guided a group of anglers to the remote Palmyra Atoll in search of bonefish and giant trevally for the Orvis
Company.  His main focus is sight fishing for stripers on the Great Bay Estuary in the Seacoast area of New Hampshire.

Captain Andy is both a US Coastguard OUPV certified Captain (In addition, he has received his Masters endorsement for inshore chartering) and a New Hampshire State certified teacher, K-12, who has an immense passion for the ocean and takes great pleasure in sharing this passion with children and adults alike. One of his specialties is teaching both children and adults how to fish and about the ocean environment.  As he says, it’s not just about catching fish, its also about educating others about the ocean and sharing wonderful experiences such as the surprise you get when you catch that first fish.
